Summary

Job Description

Working in a hybrid style, based at home and Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

Requirements

You will have a HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

You will provide a civil and structural engineering service to the Department as directed by the Senior Engineer, Principal Engineer or Head of Design and Property.

The Individual

You will have experience of civil and structural engineering design and contract supervision. You will also have experience of structural and geotechnical surveys, as well as experience of CDM and Risk Assessment, use of technical standards and site supervision.

You will have knowledge of CAD, design packages, billing and measurement and cost control packages. Additionally, you will have a current working knowledge of survey equipment and techniques, technical standards with the ability to co-ordinate project teams and external consultants.

You will be able to undertake site visits and surveys, including working at height and in confined spaces with a flexible approach to working hours with the capacity to work unsociable hours if required.

You will have current driving licence.
