Summary


This is an exciting opportunity to join the new service and to play a crucial role in realising our objectives. We are looking to recruit a Data Analyst to work in the Data & Business Intelligence Team for South West London Procurement Partnership based at St George's Hospital.

The Data Analyst will provide timely delivery of reporting, data analysis and provision of data to support the new service.

The successful candidate will be required to have good experience of presenting complex information analysis, to be confident in handling large
complex databases, have the drive to research and problem solve high profile projects, and have a high level of IT literacy in Microsoft and other
IT software packages.

There will be a practical Excel skills test undertaken with the interview.

SWL Procurement Partnership (SWLPP) Service has key goals to deliver an efficient and effective procurement service and meet ongoing savings targets.

This post will work closely with the wider Procurement management team, Finance and PMO teams to generate robust cost modelling tools to report on procurement spend opportunities, and delivery of CIP savings initiatives.

The post holder will be responsible for capturing data, developing models (e.g. dashboards, waterfall reports, etc.) and presenting spend data to allow the Category Management team to develop category strategies. This will include the pictorial representation of data to allow Category Managers and senior management to present to key stakeholders in a way that is meaningful to them; Responsible for working with the procurement team to ensure that all analysis can allow informed decision-making on sourcing and procurement activities and in identifying and quantifying savings opportunities; Lead on the collation, collection, validation and verification of spend, and other related, data to support the use of internal and external spend analysis tools or to support tendering / contracting activities.

The South West London Procurement Partnership came together on 1st April 2021 as a new single procurement service acting directly on behalf
of; Croydon Health Services NHS Trust, Epsom & St. Helier NHS Trust., Kingston & Richmond Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and St. George’s NHS Foundation Trust whilst also providing services to the wider South West London integrated care system.

The new service is hosted by St. George’s NHS Foundation Trust.

The purpose of the new service is to deliver better outcomes for partners through delivery at scale –benefits for patients, staff and the wider health
economy.

The creation of the South West London Procurement Partnership is a critical foundation in developing the common infrastructure that
will enable the wider place-based and system-level transformation in patient care which is at the heart of all 4 Trusts’ strategic aims; and support increased financial sustainability.

where contributions are fully recognised and valued by all and our staff feel empowered to carry out their duties to the best of their abilities.
