Summary

Support Worker - Flexible Role in TF11 (Shifnal)

Location: TF11 - Shifnal
Hours: 30 Hours Per Week shifts including earlies, lates, long days, and sleep-ins (alternating weekends)
Pay Rate: £12.40 per hour + £50 per sleep-in shift
Driver Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence (Manual)

We're seeking a Support Worker to join our team in TF11, supporting two adults with learning disabilities and autism (with a third person possibly joining soon). If you're calm, patient, and love helping people live life to the fullest, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Who Will You Be Supporting?

You'll support:

- One individual in their 30s - very active, loves long hikes, swimming, gym sessions, and works at a farm (independently during work hours).

- Another individual in their 30s - fun-loving with a great sense of humour, enjoys horse riding, arts and crafts, cooking, and exploring historic places like Black Country Museum and Blists Hill. Epilepsy is managed with medication.

Both individuals value consistency and positive relationships, so your role will be key in helping them thrive.

Support Overview

Support Type: 1:1 and some shared support hours

Shift Patterns:

- Earlies

- Lates

- Long days

- Sleep-ins

- Alternating weekends

Support Needs:

- Personal care (for one individual only)

- Meal preparation and medication administration

- No hoist or wheelchair use

- SALT guidance for eating support

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualities:

- Calm, patient, and approachable

- Positive, outgoing, and happy to encourage independence

- Comfortable with varied activities and flexible shifts

- Manual driver with full UK licence

Experience is welcome but not essential—we'll provide full training.
