Are you an experienced logistics professional with a passion for optimising operations and leading a dynamic team? Driver Hire Uxbridge are recruiting for a skilled Transport Manager for our client based in Greenford, a high-end food and beverage distribution company.

Your overall duties will be to oversee the busy warehouse and driving operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and seamless coordination across both departments. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact in a fast-paced environment where your expertise and leadership will be highly valued.

Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm (flexibility is a must!)

Starting salary £55,000 per annum
Expected earnings between £65,000 and £75,000 (overtime and KPI bonuses)

As a Logistics Manager, your duties will include:
• Oversee day-to-day transport operations, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety requirements.
• Keep up-to-date with vehicles maintenance (services, MOTs etc)
• Manage a team of drivers and logistics staff, including managing budgets of temporary staff
• Plan and optimise routes to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and implement systems to track stock levels effectively.
• Analyse workflow processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and organised warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery and smooth supply chain operations.
• Generate and present regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

We are seeking a Logistics Manager with the following qualifications and skills:
• Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• O-licence qualification desirable but not essential
• Proven experience in fleet and warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Food / beverages wholesaler experience is desirable
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing and motivating teams effectively.
• Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards and warehouse compliance regulations.
• No more than a 45 minute commute
