Why This Role?
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth across our apprenticeship provision. This is a unique opportunity to shape the College’s external engagement strategy, working with a wide range of employers and stakeholders across the North East and Tees Valley.

You will lead a high-performing team, drive business development activity, and play a key role in securing new partnerships and opportunities. Working closely with Apprenticeship Managers and Curriculum Leaders, you’ll identify improvements and ensure a positive learner experience. Your work will directly contribute to the College’s ambitious growth targets and its reputation for excellence in apprenticeship delivery.

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in apprenticeship business generation, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with employers. If you’re target-driven, collaborative, and passionate about making a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a permanent, full time post (working 37 hours per week). Regional travel will be required as part of the role; therefore, use of your own transport, a current valid driving licence and business insurance is essential. Starting salary will depend upon an individual’s level of experience.
