The Role

This is a full-time, 13-month fixed-term contract based in one of our UK offices: Bristol, Sheffield, or Warwick. Hybrid working options, including working from home, are available.

The position will predominantly focus on trade mark and design matters within the Records department.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

- Docketing on official deadlines on the IP case management system
- Validating case data on the IP case management system
- Opening new client name records
- Reporting official notices to clients regarding case status
- Closing and updating cases on the IP case management system
- Onboarding client portfolios
- Ongoing quality control and data integrity maintenance for record accuracy on the IP case management system

About You

To join us as a Records Assistant, you’ll need:

- Experience in trade marks and designs is preferred, or a patent administration background
- Good communication skills and able to interact at all levels with internal and external contacts
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and work pride
- The ability to balance and prioritise workload, remain composed and level-headed during periods of particularly busy activity, and be proactive in helping other members of the team
- Good Microsoft package skills
- An understanding of IP case management systems, ideally
- A desire to learn and a willingness to become involved in the work, working individually and as part of a team
