Summary

University of Sheffield
As part of the Campaigns and Alumni Relations (CAR) department, you’ll help the University of Sheffield raise money for ambitious projects aimed at addressing some of society’s most difficult challenges. Generous donors to the University are driving social mobility through scholarships and hardship funding, supporting research into devastating diseases and helping tackle issues like climate change and food insecurity.
We are looking for a data enthusiast to drive our programme of communications with the University’s global alumni community. Your main focus will be providing carefully selected, accurate data to support and deliver an annual programme of publications and activities. This will include our annual alumni and donor magazines, regular direct mail and email fundraising asks, digital newsletters and event invitations.
You'll be part of a small and highly motivated team. Collaboration, team work and excellent time-management, are all essential to the role. You’ll also need to have an eye for detail and experience of working with a CRM database.
A highly organised individual, you will have experience of handling conflicting priorities and you will be comfortable working to tight deadlines and adapting to changing situations.
You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to understand the needs of users and communicate data in a way they can understand. Your knowledge and understanding will allow our teams to use the right data and in the most appropriate way.
If this sounds like you, weʼd love to hear from you!
