Summary
Are you an outdoor person who loves to teach? We need a Forest School Leader who is looking for an exciting new challenge?
In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage children and young people through the delivery of exceptional Forest School sessions. Utilising your expertise and creativity, you will design and implement a range of activities that promote learning, growth, and a deep connection with nature.

To be considered for this role, you should hold a recognised Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification and have a minimum of two years' experience in delivering Forest School sessions to children and young people. A relevant teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS, would be highly advantageous, as it demonstrates your ability to effectively engage and educate young minds.
As a Forest School Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Forest School sessions that align with the curriculum and promote outdoor learning
- Creating a safe and nurturing environment that encourages exploration, risk-taking, and personal growth
- Assessing and managing risks to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants
- Maintaining and developing the Forest School site, including the management of resources and equipment
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience
- Monitoring and evaluating the progress and outcomes of Forest School sessions, adapting approaches as necessary

- A deep passion for outdoor education and a commitment to fostering a love of nature in children and young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire individuals of all ages
- Strong organisational and planning abilities, with a keen eye for detail
