We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Barista to join our team atCollege on-campus coffee shop! As a barista, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for students, faculty, and staff while serving high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. Whether you're pulling the perfect espresso shot or preparing a customized latte, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service and a positive experience for everyone who walks through the door.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet and engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner; take orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve coffee drinks (e.g., espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, etc.) and other menu items, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Cash Handling: Accurately process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and provide receipts and change.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the coffee shop clean and organized, including washing dishes, cleaning workstations, and ensuring the overall environment is tidy and inviting.
- Stock and Inventory: Monitor supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and pastries, and assist with inventory checks and restocking.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow baristas and coffee shop staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
- Adherence to Health & Safety Standards: Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols, including safe food handling and maintaining a clean environment.
