Are you an experienced Deputy Manager with a passion for outstanding care and team leadership? We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to support the smooth running of our high-quality nursing home in Petersfield, Hampshire.

As Deputy Manager, you’ll work closely with the Home Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring residents receive exceptional, person-centred care. You’ll provide clinical leadership, mentor staff, and help maintain the highest standards of compliance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager in leading and managing the care team.

  
  

• Ensure safe, effective delivery of clinical and personal care.

  
  

• Conduct audits, manage care plans, and uphold CQC compliance.

  
  

• Supervise and develop nursing and care staff through mentorship and training.

  
  

• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.

  
  Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with an active NMC PIN preferred.

    
    

  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Nurse in a care home setting.

    
    

  • Strong clinical leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

    
    

  • Thorough understanding of CQC standards and person-centred care principles.
