Summary

IPS Group are supporting a well established and growing MGA who are looking to hire a Quality Assurance Officer in this newly created role. This position has come about due to the continued growth of the business and the increasing need to maintain high standards across underwriting operations.

The role will sit within the risk and compliance function, reporting directly to the Head of Risk and Compliance, and will work closely alongside the existing Compliance and Audit Officer.

The focus of the role is to carry out quality assurance audits on underwriting files managing around 90 audits per month. You will provide meaningful feedback to underwriters. It’s not just about ticking boxes; it’s about identifying trends, supporting training, and helping to get to the root cause of any issues so the business can continue to improve.

You’ll be supporting the leadership team and playing a key part in maintaining and enhancing underwriting standards. To be considered, you’ll need to have experience in quality assurance within a general insurance setting, this could be within a Broker, Insurer or MGA, this is essential.
The role requires someone who’s detail-oriented, confident in communicating with underwriters, and comfortable delivering training and feedback. You’ll be in the office two days a week, with the rest of the time spent working remotely.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, feel free to get in touch and I’ll be happy to talk it through in more detail.
