What will make you successful in this role?
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the lettings or property management sector
• A solid understanding of tenancy legislation and the upcoming Renters’ Rights Bill
• Organised, proactive, and confident, managing a busy workload
• Ideally, hold a driving licence and can travel to local properties (mileage claims can be discussed)
What will your role look like?
As a Property Manager, you’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of around 150 properties, ensuring everything runs smoothly day to day. This is a hands-on role with a strong administrative focus, ideal for someone who’s used to handling the full scope of property management duties.
Key responsibilities include:
• Liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors to keep operations seamless
• Managing property licensing renewals, council inspections, and progressing any license compliance works
• Processing invoices and managing property-related documentation
• Handling various aspects of property management administration, including serving Section 8, 13, and 21 notices
• Recording and tracking activity using property management software systems such as CARL, Goodlord, and Fixflo
• Managing keys signing in/out and registering new keys on our in-house system
• Conducting property inspections and assisting with inventories and check-outs when required
• Supporting the lettings team where needed and attending weekly office and management team meetings
• Completing The Guild online training to maintain your accreditation
