Summary
Our client is a well-established independent firm of accountants with over 30 years of experience and offices across South Yorkshire.
They are currently seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join their Barnsley office.
With a diverse client base, the role offers excellent exposure to all areas of accounting in a supportive environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior management in preparing statutory accounts for Manager/Partner review
- Client bookkeeping
- Preparing personal tax returns, VAT returns, and corporate tax returns
- Gaining experience with cloud accounting software
Skills and Qualities:
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in accountancy, including preparing accounts to the final review stage. Applicants with AAT Level 3/4 or PQ ACCA qualifications are preferred, but those with equivalent experience are also encouraged to apply.
