We are currently offering an exciting and challenging opportunity for a legal property professional to work within an in-house team to provide legal property support and advice on the operational management of the Council’s property portfolio. You will be involved in a wide variety of legal work including advise on property and land law: drafting all types of legal documents in respect of property and land transactions, including leases licences, development agreements, s.106, loan and grant agreements and similar agreements and dealing with statutory designation of land such as Rights of Way, Sites of Importance for Nature Conservancy (SINC’s) & Local Nature Reserves (LNR’s), Dog Control Orders.

You will need to be a qualified Solicitor and have experience within property related matters. Experience of working within a local authority environment would be desirable. You will also need to deliver a high level of service and be able to manage your own case load, acting on your own initiative. Your technical skills will be complimented by your professionalism, enthusiasm and autonomy.
