We’re offering a fantastic opportunity for an Early Years Apprentice to join our small, nurturing home-based childminding business — where you’ll gain hands-on experience while working towards your NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education.
About Us
We are a small, friendly childcare setting providing high-quality care and learning for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Our approach is play-based, child-led, and focused on building confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning in a warm, family-like environment.
Your Role
You’ll work alongside the childminding business owner and team to:
Support with day-to-day nursery routines and activities
Help plan and deliver fun, educational play experiences
Promote children’s learning and development following the EYFS framework
Assist with meals, outdoor play, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment
Learn and grow under the guidance of experienced childcare practitioners
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
Is kind, reliable, and enthusiastic about learning new skills
Is willing to work towards an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education
Works well as part of a small, close-knit team
Is able to complete or already holds a DBS check and first aid/safeguarding training (we can help with this)
