Summary
Are you passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development in a warm, nurturing home-from-home environment?
We’re looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to help run our small home-based childminding business.
About Us
We are a small, friendly setting providing high-quality childcare for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Our approach is play-based, child-led and built on creating a safe, stimulating and loving space for every child to thrive.
Your Role
You’ll work closely with the childminding business owner to:
Support the day-to-day running of the setting
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
Promote children’s development in line with the EYFS framework
Help with meal preparation, routines and outdoor play
Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Is caring, patient, and passionate about supporting early development
Has experience working with young children (preferably in an Early Years or nursery setting)
Holds an Early Years qualification (Level 2 or 3) — not essential, as we can provide training and support through an apprenticeship
Works well as part of a small team and builds positive relationships with families
Has an up-to-date DBS check and relevant safeguarding / first aid training (or willing to obtain them)
