Contract: 03/11/2025 – 31/01/2026 (likely to be extended)
Hours: 37 per week | Mon–Fri 08:30–18:00

Carmarthenshire County Council is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated individuals to join our Customer Services team. As a Customer Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact for residents—helping them access council services, book appointments, complete online forms, and get the advice they need.
What You’ll Do
Handle a wide range of enquiries via phone and online
Support residents with applications and service requests
Provide clear, helpful advice and guidance
Deliver high-quality customer care with professionalism and empathy
Work flexibly across home and office locations (initial training and 2–3 days/week in office required)
What We’re Looking For
Polite, helpful, and adaptable team players
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
No prior experience required—full training provided
