Summary

Job OverviewWe are looking for a Supplier Management Team Leader to join our Mitie Procurement Centre of Excellence to lead on the supplier management strategy for Mitie.

You will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the supplier processes, tools, ways of working as well as working closely with the teams across the business to ensure all supplier facing engagements align with the overall customer and business strategies.

You should be capable of working with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure flawless execution and implementation of best practices and to review the optimisation of the supplier management and contractual life cycle management to then have a clear look at tracking success and future planning for the CoE and Supplier Management as a whole. You will also lead an expert team of Supplier Management Professionals in which you will also work alongside on special SME projects.

Main Duties

-Continual improvement of Supplier Management Programme (SMP) and Supplier Management Framework (SMF), providing required data inputs and outputs.

-Provide tools, training, and guidance to colleagues to ensure SMP, SMF and other performance reviews are undertaken in line with methodology.

-Undertake SMP/SMF audits monitoring and reporting actuals v targets.

-Analyse and report outputs of operational and procurement led scorecard reviews.

-Manage supplier performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

-Provide information and updates to feed into annual report, OGSP, KPI updates, and other procurement updates, tracking actuals v. targets

What we are looking forThe idea candidate will have a strong level of experience within the procurement industry and have a very good understanding of Supplier Management, with a proven track record of managing contracts of varying values and complexity, including change management, adding value and innovations.

You should also be an inspiration and ambitious leader with experience in people management at a senior level with a creative problem solver approach to work and be able to influence stakeholders and engage to ensure SMP plans are implemented.

Proficient use of Microsoft office tools, reporting tools and knowledge of P2P systems such as SAP and Coupa are very advantageous.
