Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and engaging Learner Engagement Lecturer to join our team. In this role, you will work with learners to support their engagement, progress, and overall success. You will play a key role in helping learners overcome barriers and build confidence to achieve their academic and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver sessions and support to enhance learner engagement and motivation.
- Monitor learner progress, attendance, and participation, providing guidance where needed.
- Work with learners to identify and overcome barriers to learning.
- Contribute to the development of engaging learning activities and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of learner support and interventions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent approach to learner engagement and support.
Person Specification:
- Experience working in education, learner support, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to motivate and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Understanding of barriers to learning and strategies to improve learner engagement.
- Positive, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting learners.
