Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Welfare Rights Advisor L4Z1 to join our team. Responsibilities
Provide expert advice on welfare rights and entitlements to clients.
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and circumstances.
Help clients navigate complex welfare application processes and appeals.
Advocate on behalf of clients in meetings with external agencies and organizations.
Develop and deliver training sessions for junior advisors and support staff.
Stay up-to-date with changes in welfare legislation and policies that may affect clients.
Collaborate with community organizations to enhance support services for clients.
Requirements
Proven experience in welfare rights advisory roles or similar positions.
In-depth knowledge of welfare legislation and social justice principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients.
Strong advocacy skills with a passion for defending clients' rights.
Ability to conduct assessments and develop tailored action plans for clients.
Experience in mentoring and training junior staff or volunteers.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
