Summary

We're looking for a MEICA Operations Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Wanlip



Location: Wanlip, Leicestershire

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

Kier is a strategic partner to Severn Trent Water for AMP8 on capital frameworks across both supply and treatment regions. We deliver design and build services for new and existing infrastructure assets (below ground) and non-infrastructure assets (above ground).



What will you be responsible for?

As MEICA Operations Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) works on the Wanlip sewage treatment works upgrade programme.



Your day to day will include:

-Leading the delivery of all MEICA works from design to commissioning and handover.

-Coordinating with civil and process teams to ensure integrated, compliant project delivery.

-Implementing and monitor SHE and DSEAR compliance across all MEICA activities.

-Managing, mentor, and develop Project Engineers and Supervisors within the MEICA team.

-Overseeing supply chain performance, cost control, and programme delivery to meet project targets.



What are we looking for?

This role of MEICA Operations Manager is great for you if:

-You have experience within the water/ waste water industry with good working knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes.

-You have DSEAR knowledge/ COMPEX qualifications

-You hold a BEng/ ONC/ HNC qualified electrical or mechanical engineer

-You hold a Full driving licence
