Summary

Are you passionate about apprenticeship quality in higher education? We’re looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Quality Manager (Apprenticeships) to join our Quality Assurance and Enhancement team at the University of Staffordshire.

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the university’s quality and standards framework for apprenticeships, ensuring that our policies and processes meet the highest standards and align with academic, regulatory, and professional body requirements (Ofsted, DfE, OfS, QAA etc.)

What You'll Be Doing

Developing and enhancing quality assurance and enhancement processes for apprenticeships
Coordinating institutional quality monitoring, reporting and external inspection arrangements for apprenticeships
Providing expert advice, guidance and training on sector developments relating to apprenticeship quality assurance
Driving business improvements and managing change initiatives
What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone with:

Specialist knowledge and experience of apprenticeship quality assurance requirements (including Ofsted inspection) and the design and delivery of mechanisms to assure compliance with these
A strong understanding of UK higher education quality assurance frameworks
Experience in quality policy, process development, and implementation
Confidence in delivering change and working to deadlines
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
An understanding of governance structures
A collaborative mindset and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
