Teaching Assistant for Key Stage Two (Level 2 Grade 3)

Mab’s Cross Primary School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support classes in KS2. This will be working with the class teacher and providing support for children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, in addition to some administration tasks.

The position is for 31 hours and 15 minutes per week, working 8.30am 3.45pm. Initially this is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2026.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to follow teachers plans and to give accurate feedback regarding pupils
  • Be adaptable and able to use their initiative.
  • Have experience in working with children with special educational needs, in particular neuro-diverse needs.
  • Be able to provide stimulating activities.
  • Be keen to make a difference to the school experience of children.
  • Be enthusiastic and creative.
  • Be willing to play a full part in the life of the school.
