Our online channel is a significant part of our total business and we have plans for this channel to continue to grow, support our customer demand and multi channel activity.We are looking for a Copy & Content Executive to play a valuable part of the team and help deliver our growth plans.The Copy & Content Executive is responsible for crafting engaging, brand-aligned content across digital and marketing channels. This includes writing product descriptions, blog posts, email copy, and campaign messaging.Main dutiesProduct CopywritingWrite clear, compelling copy for product pages, emails, campaigns and print materials.Translate technical specifications into customer-friendly language, tailored to outdoor enthusiasts.Ensure consistency in tone, style, and brand messaging across all platforms.Collaborate with the Product team to gather insights and ensure copy accuracy.Create blog articles and editorial content to support SEO and engagement.Content Planning & CoordinationCollaborate with the wider team on campaign execution.Support seasonal and promotional content development.SEO & OptimisationApply SEO best practices to written content.Conduct keyword research and optimise metadata.Monitor content performance and suggest improvements.Research & Industry InsightStay informed about outdoor industry trends, terminology, and customer interests.Conduct product and competitor research to inform copywriting.Ensure all content reflects the brand’s expertise and passion for the outdoors. Skills & ExperienceProven experience in copywriting, ideally within ecommerce.Understanding of outdoor industry terminology and customer mindset.SEO & OptimisationApplication of SEO best practices to written content.Keyword research and optimisation of metadata.Monitoring of content performance and proactive suggestion for improvement.Technical & QualificationsDegree or equivalent experience in English, creative writing, journalism, or a related field.Familiarity with SEO and digital content best practices is a plus, but not essential.What’s in it for you?
