Summary

Lancashire Wildlife Trust is looking for an Engagement & Wellbeing Officer to support nature recovery in The Greater Manchester area.

We’re looking for a confident and creative Engagement and Wellbeing Officer to join our Championing Nature team, with a focus on engaging underrepresented communities in Wythenshawe.

The postholder will help deliver inspiring conservation, education, and nature-based activities—especially for children, young people, and families. From seasonal community events to green space improvements and citizen science, you’ll support local people to shape and lead nature recovery where they live.

This post will suit individuals who have a passion for nature and empowering communities. You believe everyone should have a voice in shaping the future of their local environment and have the knowledge and skills to take action.

We offer a friendly and flexible working environment with the chance to be a part of the largest nature conservation body in the area, working together to improve our region for nature as well as engaging and inspiring people to connect and take action for wildlife.
