The Role
Make a Difference Support Resettlement and Integration in Bolton

We’re looking for a motivated, organised individual with strong communication skills to join our Resettlement & Immigration Projects Team as a Housing Options Officer. You’ll support newly arrived individuals and families with housing needs, helping them access essential services such as healthcare, education, and employment.

The role promotes integration and wellbeing through tailored support and community engagement. You’ll work closely with partners and stakeholders, maintain accurate records, and contribute to programme outcomes. This is a rewarding opportunity to help people rebuild their lives and thrive in Bolton.

About You
Although this is a Housing Officer role, its scope is much wider. With support from the Programme Manager, you’ll deliver holistic support to help newly settled individuals and families in Bolton integrate and build independence, through access to housing, healthcare, education, employment, and community life.

You'll work closely with partners to ensure tailored support and may apply relevant legislation or local guidance as needed. The role requires autonomy, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload.

While direct refugee experience isn’t essential, knowledge of housing, approaches to prevent homelessness, or experience supporting individuals to achieve positive outcomes is highly beneficial.

This is your opportunity to join us at an exciting time as we have strong ambitions for the borough.
