About the Role
A UK-based fintech and financial education organisation is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to establish, manage, and grow the company’s digital presence across multiple platforms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing social media channels — including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), and Telegram — from the ground up. This role requires a creative strategist who can produce both short-form and long-form content, drive audience growth, and deliver measurable engagement results.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who combines creativity with data-driven decision-making and has a strong understanding of digital storytelling, platform algorithms, and community management.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage company accounts across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), and Telegram.
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to grow brand visibility and engagement from the ground up.
Create, edit, and publish short-form and long-form video content optimised for each platform.
Maintain content calendars, posting schedules, and consistent brand messaging across channels.
Analyse audience behaviour, performance metrics, and trends to refine content and maximise reach.
Manage community engagement, respond to interactions, and build a strong online presence.
Collaborate with internal teams to align content with company goals and campaigns.
Report on performance, growth, and engagement metrics using analytics tools.
Requirements
Proven experience managing TikTok and YouTube channels with a strong understanding of both short-form and long-form content creation.
Demonstrable success building and managing social media accounts — links to previous projects, campaigns, or portfolios required.
Experience launching and scaling multi-platform social strategies.
Proficiency with major social platforms: TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), and Telegram.
Skilled in video production, editing, and optimisation for platform algorithms.
Strong understanding of content marketing, brand storytelling, and audience engagement.
Experience with analytics tools (YouTube Studio, TikTok Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
UK-based or able to work UK business hours.
Fully equipped home office setup with reliable internet connectivity.
