Summary


The Governors at St Peter's C of E Primary School are looking to appoint an Attendance & Admission Officer to commence as soon as possible to cover a maternity vacancy.The role of Attendance & Admission Officer is vital to ensuring the success and safety of pupils at St Peter’s C of E Primary School. You will ensure that class registers are accurately maintained and attendance trends monitored. You will help towards improving levels of attendance and reducing absences. As well as maintaining accurate attendance records, the Attendance & Admission Officer will work with staff, families and external agencies to challenge poor attendance and put in place appropriate measures to support children and families. You may be require to do home visits on occasion with the DSL. You will also provide data analysis to the Headteacher and Pastoral & Safeguarding Lead. The Attendance & Admission Officer will deal with the school admissions and act as a first point of contact for prospective parents/carers. You will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks including collating admission packs, uploading data onto Arbor and download/creating CTF’s. You will liaise regularly with the Local Authority to pass on information about any vacancies we have and liaise with other schools to gather information about new starters. You will administer medication using Medical Tracker and maintain the register to keep it up to date. You will also be required to carry out daily admin duties required by the school. You will need to have excellent communication skills a keen eye for detail and strong time management skills.
