Summary

Join Our Founding Team at Lyde Green Community School
Position: Operations Lead (and PA to the Headteacher)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37 hours/week, Monday to Friday)
Pay Scale: Grade 7 £36,363 to £39,152 per annum
Start Date: 1st January 2026
Lyde Green Community School opens in September 2026, and we’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Operations Lead to help shape the operational heartbeat of our new school.
This newly created role supports the Headteacher and ensures smooth day-to-day operations. As the school grows, so will your impact—building systems, culture, and processes from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-level support to the Headteacher
• Lead planning and delivery of key events (e.g. open evenings, forums)
• Develop systems to support strategic and operational priorities
• Manage the admin team and coordinate support functions
• Act as a key contact for stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with policies (safeguarding, data protection, H&S)
We’re looking for someone who is:
• Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused
• A confident communicator with strong organisational skills
• Experienced in office/operations management (ideally in education)
• Excited to help shape a school from day one
