Summary
We are seeking to appoint Level 3 Teaching Assistant on a permanent contract to join our team based at our Craig Hall (Irlam) site.
Springwood is a large primary age Special School (375 pupils aged 5 11) based over a number of sites, which caters for pupils with moderate, severe and complex needs.
Springwood is part of the Link Education Trust.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate how they meet the following essential criteria:
- Are you interested in supporting primary age children with complex needs to achieve their potential?
- Will you ensure that all our pupils are included and supported to develop whatever their special educational needs or behaviour challenges?
- Can you work as part of a team to provide an appropriate learning environment for our pupils?
- Do you want to learn new skills and participate in your own professional development?
- Previous experience of working with young people of school age who may have challenging behaviour and complex needs, preferably within an educational setting.
- Are you ready to develop your skills and expertise to lead groups of pupils?
- Do you have the drive to develop your skills and expertise in a nominated area of specialist communication?
Shortlisted candidates will be invited into school to undertake a rigorous recruitment process which may include a range of tasks and an interview.
