Your new role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Construction Instructor to deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. You will teach the BTEC Pearson Award in Construction and the Built Environment, as well as the BTEC Introductory Certificate in Construction. The timetable includes 10 lessons across Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

What you'll need to succeed
We welcome applications from:

  • Qualified teachers (QTS)
  • Unqualified instructors with relevant experience
  • Candidates with a recognised Further Education (FE) teaching qualification

You should also:

  • Have experience delivering BTEC Construction qualifications (Pearson Award and Introductory Certificate)
  • Be confident working in an SEN/SEMH setting and managing behaviour positively
  • Be passionate about vocational education and skilled in delivering practical, engaging lessons
  • Be adaptable, empathetic, and committed to supporting young people with complex needs
