About the Role
We are working with our client who are recruiting for a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join a busy and dynamic logistics team in Salford on a temp – perm basis. This role is at the heart of ensuring that outbound freight operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with network requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of outbound trunk vehicle planning, allocation, and freight processing.
Ensure full compliance with network processes through accurate administration, scanning, and record-keeping.
Act as a key point of contact for drivers and customers, issuing keys, manifests, and ensuring smooth communication.
Accurately handle transport documentation, generate labels/tickets, and input job details into internal systems.
Provide essential support to the wider Customer Services team when required.
Skills & Experience
Previous administrative experience is essential.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
High level of attention to detail with excellent computer skills.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy in a fast-moving environment.
Valid driving licence (due to location/travel needs).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
