Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of each child.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
- Manage daily activities within the nursery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all children.
- Drive initiatives that promote children's independence and self-esteem through play-based learning.
- Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records to track progress.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive atmosphere that respects diversity and individual needs.
Experience
- Communication with children, families and other agencies.
- Experience working with nursery-aged children is highly desirable.
- A relevant qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
