Summary
Caretaker – Church Building & Grounds
We are seeking a committed and practical Caretaker to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of our church building and grounds. This hands-on role involves general repairs, basic electrical work, painting, minor roof inspections, and groundskeeping. You’ll manage site access, support services and events, and ensure the premises remain safe, clean, and welcoming.
Essential Skills & Experience:
General building maintenance and repair skills
Basic electrical knowledge
Manual handling and working at height
Groundskeeping experience
Flexible availability, including weekends/evenings
Desirable:
PAT testing certification
Basic plumbing skills
Experience with church or community buildings
