Summary
We are looking for a motivated Apprentice IT Network Operator to join our growing IT team. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and looking to build a rewarding career in IT.
You will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining hands-on exposure across a range of IT functions—from networking and infrastructure to development and support. We want you to explore your interests across the technology spectrum and grow into a well-rounded IT professional.
Job Role
• Assist in maintaining and supporting our IT network infrastructure.
• Provide first-line support for internal staff, resolving basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Help monitor and troubleshoot systems to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Learn from senior colleagues, shadowing across different IT and development roles.
• Contribute to projects that enhance Welfare Call’s systems and services.
• Continuously develop your technical knowledge and skills, with support for professional training and certifications.
What We’re Looking For
• A genuine enthusiasm for IT and technology, with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Studying towards, an Information Communication Technician Level 3 apprenticeship before progressing to a Level 4 Network Engineer.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence (as occasional travel may be required).
• Recent graduates, apprentices, or those looking to begin a career in IT are encouraged to apply.
Working week: 40 Hours per week.
Annual Leave: 31 days inc. Bank Holidays
