Summary
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
As an Apprentice Project Manager, you will support the successful delivery of capital and minor works projects both across the UK and globally.
Job Description
This role is designed as a learning opportunity to help you develop the skills and experience needed to become a professional project manager.
You’ll work closely with experienced project managers and teams, gaining practical experience in planning, coordination, and project delivery, while also building your understanding of the Project Management Office (PMO) and Commercial Team functions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating and delivering projects under senior guidance
Support with documentation, scheduling and reporting
Monitor progress and flag issues or delays
Communicate professionally with teams, suppliers and clients
Support compliance with health, safety and governance standards
Take meeting notes and follow up on actions
Maintain accurate records and files
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Keen interest in project management and the built environment
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Working towards or interested in a project management qualification
Good communication and teamwork skills
Organised, reliable and eager to learn
Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Willing to travel to project sites when required
