As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide strategic oversight and operational excellence across the following areas:

Organisational Development :
With a vision to foster a culture of continuous learning and personal growth you will design and champion opportunities that reflect our values, helping every member of our YMCA family to grow, flourish, and reach their full potential.

Business Development & Marketing :
You will lead on creative marketing and communication strategies that amplify YMCA’s impact, building meaningful partnerships, strengthening community connections, and generating sustainable income to support so that we can grow our charitable mission.

Systems & Processes :
By overseeing the continuous improvement of our business systems and processes, you will ensure the organisation embeds efficiency, compliance, and sustainability, strengthening YMCA Humber's long-term impact and operational excellence.

Café & Reception :
Our Café, Conferencing and reception are the face of YMCA Humber, and through the management of our customer services functions you will ensure our teams provide a welcoming, inclusive, and values-driven experience, creating spaces and facilities where everyone feels welcome.

People Services & HR :
By championing a fair, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture, you will ensure compliance with employment law and best practice, guiding teams on employee relations, wellbeing, and ongoing professional growth.

Designated Safeguarding Lead :
A key part of this role is to act as the Senior Designated Safeguarding Lead, providing strategic oversight and advice across the organisation. You will have the skills to promote a culture of safety, vigilance, and care, ensuring the wellbeing of everyone who connects with YMCA remains at the heart of what we do.


About You :
You will be a dynamic and values-driven leader who thrives in a collaborative environment, an individual who has r experience of managing diverse teams and leading organisational improvement; coupled with empathy, vision, and a commitment to inclusion.

A formal qualification in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Organisational Development, or Project Management would be highly desirable, strengthening your ability to make a meaningful impact in this proactive, outward-facing role.
