The Role
Reporting directly to the Owner/Director, the Operational Manager will oversee daily operations, manage a team of part-time staff and ensure top-tier service delivery across our diverse contracts. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and support part-time staff (cleaners, gardeners, security operatives) across multiple client sites.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring service excellence and contract retention.
• Oversee mobilisation of new contracts managing resources and staffing.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Drive performance, efficiency, and profitability across cleaning, gardening, and security operations.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement to add value for clients.
• Provide regular reports and updates to the Director.
About You
We seek a proven leader with experience managing teams and contracts in the commercial cleaning, facilities management, or related sectors. You must thrive in a hands-on role and be ready to grow with us.
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 2 years’ senior management experience in cleaning, facilities management, or security.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to inspire and manage staff.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience with budgetary control.
• Proven ability to meet KPIs, enhance client satisfaction, and improve services.
• Solid understanding of compliance, health & safety, and operational logistics.
• Highly organised, resilient, and able to excel in a dynamic setting.
Qualifications:
• Degree or equivalent experience in business management or facilities operations.
