We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Operative to support daily warehouse operations. The role suits someone who works well in a fast-paced setting whilst following health and safety procedures.
How you create impact
- Unload and load palletised stock using the equipment provided such as forklift trucks (e.g. Counterbalance, Reach, PPT) ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, company procedures, and GDP standards (for trained MHE users).
- Manually assist with the loading and unloading of goods where MHE operation is not required or where the operative is not MHE trained, always maintaining safe handling practices.
- To locate, move, and update stock using Electronic Stock Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning devices, ensuring accurate stock placement and traceability.
- Assist with stock storage and retrieval at ground level for non-MHE trained operatives, following clear warehouse layout plans and stock location systems.
- Assemble orders in line with delivery schedules, customer requirements, and Service Level Agreements, ensuring the correct quantity and presentation of products.
- Visually inspect and process returned goods from customers, determining whether items should be returned to stock, quarantined in accordance with WI and quality policies.
