Summary

Join us as a Senior UX Researcher at NatWest Boxed

  • You’ll be working directly under our Research Leader, but with a high degree of agency and autonomy.
  • You'll work closely with other members of the product team to deliver consistent, efficient, and enjoyable experiences
  • This is a great opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills while making a real difference for our customers

What you'll do

As a Senior UX Researcher, you’ll own and execute the high-level strategic discovery pieces that chart our future course. You'll own the research roadmap for your product area, ensuring we balance future-looking discovery work with evaluative experiments that optimize what's live today.

Additionally, you’ll be:

  • Navigating the complexities of B2B2C, mastering the art of researching two very different audiences, our business partners and their end customers
  • Championing a user-centric culture, making sure that all strategic and design choices are directly anchored to verified customer needs
  • Building a better research function, contributing hands-on to the processes and tools (ResearchOps) that make our research effective and scalable
  • Working closely with Product, UX Designers and the wider teams
  • Actively coaching junior team members and helping product and design colleagues grow their own independent research skills

The skills you'll need

You’ll need to be technically excellent, master of mixed-methods research (complex qualitative and quantitative analysis), and know how to bring different data streams together to tell a cohesive story

We’ll also be looking for:

  • You to influence and guide executive-level stakeholders, turning research findings into clear, consensus-driven strategic decisions
  • The ability to deliver relevant and effective insight under varying project constraints
  • Highly independent researcher, comfortable owning the entire research lifecycle from ambiguous questions to final recommendations in a small, fast-paced team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels with an ability to champion design thinking and influence key stakeholders
