Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and experiences that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Observing, assessing, and documenting children's progress and development using established methods and tools
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and ensuring a strong partnership between home and nursery
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a consistent and cohesive approach to childcare and education
- Attending regular team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant qualification in childcare or early years education, such as an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. A minimum of two years' experience working in a similar setting is highly desirable.
