Summary
We have a new role to start ASAP in a lovely firendly primary in the Workington area,. The role is to support a pupil in KS1 with SEMH. You will be supporting the pupils transition to KS2, although much of the work will be at a KS1 level. You will be working with the pupil 1:1 and in class implementing learning inteventions with the Teacher. We welcome your application if you are an experienced Teaching Assistant and available to work time 8:45 - 15:30.
With this role you may be asked to attend meetings with the SENCO and 3rd part team to ensure the wellbeing and safety of the pupil is met.
. The position is a long term support role expected to extend.
The role
- To support a pupil in year 2 SEMH.
- Work with the class teacher on delivering a curriculum tailored to the pupils needs
- Work with the pupil in class and also out of class 1:1
- You will also help support another pupil with SEND alongside another TA
- The school is a friendly welcoming school with a great team ethos.
- You will be expected to create a nurturing and safe environment for the pupil's wellbeing#

- Will have a TA qualification.
