Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant: You Role
As a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
• Supporting the class teacher in delivering Maths lessons across KS3-KS4, helping with algebra, number work, statistics and exam preparation
• Provide 1-1 and small group support sessions to students who need extra help to catch up or stretch themselves
• Assist with the preparing resources and worksheets
• Help monitor student progress and feedback, working with the department to address learning gaps
• Contribute to creating a positive learning environment where students feel confidence and motivated
Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant: Candidate Specification
KPi Education are on the hunt for a dedicated Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant who holds:
• Holds a 2:1 or 1st class degree from a top-30 or Russell Group University in Maths, Statistics, Engineering or related subject
• Has strong GCSE’s and A-Level credentials in Maths
• Can communicate clearly with patience and encouragement
• Has some experience with young learners (Volunteering or Tutoring)
