Brent, NW10 (commutable from Harlesden, Willesden, Wembley, Cricklewood, Neasden)
£105-£115 per day

Contract: Full-time, long-term (Full Academic Year)
Long Term Futures is working with a supportive primary provision in Brent who are looking to appoint multiple SEN Teaching Assistants across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1. These roles are ideal for patient and enthusiastic candidates who want to make a difference to children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), communication needs, and social-emotional challenges.
About the Role
- Each role is tailored to supporting pupils who require additional 1:1 or small group support, either in EYFS or lower Key Stage 1. Your day-to-day will include:
- Providing structured support to help children access learning and feel included.
- Using strategies such as visual timetables, sensory activities and communication tools.
- Supporting social interaction, play, and group participation in class and during unstructured times.
- Assisting with daily routines and transitions, providing calm and consistent support.
- Collaborating with the SENCo, class teacher, and therapists to track progress and adapt approaches.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND, ideally in EYFS or KS1.
- Knowledge of strategies for non-verbal communication and behaviour support.
- A patient, proactive and resilient approach to managing challenges.
- Comfortable with intimate care if required.
- Passionate about helping children build confidence, independence, and engagement.
