Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant: Your Role

As a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Deliver 1:1 and small group support sessions in Maths, tailored to pupils’ needs
• Support classroom teaching by preparing resources and assisting with lesson delivery
• Help students develop strategies to approach challenging concepts in algebra, geometry, and statistics
• Track progress and provide feedback to teachers to inform lesson planning.
• Contribute to a positive and focused learning environment, motivating students to achieve

Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant: Candidate Specification

We’re seeking a dedicated Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant who can demonstrate:

• A 2:1 or higher degree in Maths, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, or a related subject (Russell Group/top-30 university preferred)
• Strong A-Level and GCSE results in Maths
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• A genuine passion for education and an ambition to progress into teaching or a Maths-related career
• A proactive, resilient, and patient attitude when supporting learners of varying abilities
