Haileybury is seeking to appoint a Library Assistant to work within its beautifully refurbished, grade II* listed library on a fixed-term basis.
Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team of library professionals in supporting the administration and running of the Library Department. The post-holder will deliver an excellent service to all library users by assisting with the presentation and general maintenance of the library, and supporting the resourcing needs of departments, pupils and teachers.
The successful candidate should have prior experience of working in a library, with a love of literature for adults, young adults and children.
This is a fixed term post for a period of approximately 9 months.
The post-holder will be required to work 17.5 hours per week during term time. The working pattern for the role is Monday 11:00 am - 4:00 pm, Tuesday 8:30 am - 1:30 pm and Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (inclusive of a 30 minute unpaid lunch).
