Summary
WorkwithYorkshire are working with a local law client, who have a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join their Family team based in Harrogate. This is a 6 month permanent rolling contract, working full time hours Mon – Friday in the office.
Duties:
File existing and new correspondence and documentation in a timely manner, including emails in multiple inboxes
Maintain files for good client records (in LEAP, SharePoint and Outlook)
Scan documents, including supplier invoices or correspondence received and forwarding them to the appropriate staff member for their attention.
Produce/amend documents and ensure they are professionally presented and fit for purpose.
Help to compile document bundles and ensure that they are professionally presented and fit for purpose.
Answer the telephone engage scripts and pass calls with detail onto other staff members.
Key skills and experience:
Legal Administration experience
Excellent client service skills, with a calm and supportive nature which is sympathetic to client needs
Ability to work to tight timescales and under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both face to face and over the phone
