Summary


The Psychology in Healthcare department is undergoing a period of growth and as such we are looking to recruit a highly motivated and organised Office Manager for our hub at Arthurs Hill. Our Service has a main base at the Royal Victoria Infirmary with satellite bases at Freeman Hospital, Molinuex Health Centre and Arthurs Hill Clinic.

This post holder will work inclose collaboration with the Service Operational Manager and the Admin Manager to ensure high quality delivery of service, taking a lead role in the day to day office management of the Psychology Teams at Arthurs Hill with responsibility for development and promotion of office policies and protocols. You will also line manage secretarial staff within the section including recruitment/selection and deployment of secretarial staff, including the management of sickness absence. As well as undertaking appraisals of the secretarial staff and actively championing and promoting learning and development.

To line manage secretarial staff within the section including recruitment/selection and deployment of secretarial staff, including the management of sickness absence. To undertake appraisals of the
secretarial staff and actively champion and promote learning and development.
• To deputise for the Service Operational Manager as necessary.

• To provide high quality personal assistant support to an agreed clinical lead.
• The post holder will provide oversight of the secretarial services provided to clinical staff in our Acute Services. This is a large department with both clinical and secretarial staff spread across several sites (Royal Victoria Infirmary, Freeman Hospital, Arthurs Hill Clinic).
