Summary

Nursing Home Manager
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Bonus scheme

Hours: 40 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Nursing Home Manager (or Care Home Manager) to lead a modern, welcoming care home that provides high-quality nursing and dementia care for older adults. As Nursing Home Manager, you will take responsibility for the overall running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and operational success. What We’re Looking For

  • Nursing qualification and valid NMC pin (preferred but not essential)
  • Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager with a track record of achieving good or outstanding CQC ratings.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team.
  • A resident-focused approach and passion for high-quality elderly care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership to a dedicated care and nursing team, inspiring excellence in daily practice.
  • Ensure residents receive person-centred, compassionate care that promotes dignity and independence.
  • Lead on all regulatory compliance, maintaining CQC standards and striving for an Outstanding rating.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring a positive and inclusive working culture.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy levels to ensure the home’s commercial success.
  • Build trusted relationships with residents’ families, healthcare professionals, and the local community.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement innovative solutions in care delivery.
