Working hours: As and when required Interview Date: Week commencing 20th October 2025The role of Relief Assistant Support Worker is an inspirational one and key to achieving successful outcomes for clients.This is a flexible working position at The Salvation Army, Isle of Wight Homelessness Service, Ryde and IOW Assessment Hub, Newport. We provide accommodation and are committed to providing opportunities that support each person to find their purpose, develop positive relationships and experience a sense of community at different stages of their journey through the Island’s Homelessness Pathway onto independent living. Everything we do is underpinned by our core values and demonstrated within our daily practice. We are looking for staff who can be flexible, work shifts (day, evening and/or night) to provide the best support to our clients.Key Responsibilities:As a motivated and dynamic team member you will be assisting with the delivery of a high-quality programme of support which promotes client choice and control, enabling residents to achieve positive life changes and ultimately empower them to lead fulfilling lives.
